Innovaciòn: la importancia de identificarla y medirla. la dinámica del subsector papa (solanum tuberosum) en el norte de Nicaragua

Abstract

El tema en discusión se refiere a la innovación, desde la perspectiva subsectorial; tiene como objeto de estudio, el conocimiento sobre las expresiones de la innovación en el subsector productivo de la papa (Solanum tuberosum. L), que ubica su dinámica, principalmente en los territorios de Matagalpa, Jinotega y Estelí ubicados en el norte de Nicaragua. El problema radica en la inexistencia de una metodología adecuada para la identificación y medición de la innovación de los subsectores productivos nicaragüenses. Este estudio en proceso, tiene como objetivo, crear una metodología que brinde aproximaciones que permitan identificar y medir la innovación de este subsector productivo. Los aportes teóricos, metodológicos y prácticos del estudio radican en la búsqueda de incrementar la información y el conocimiento sobre las diversas dinámicas que afectan significativamente las actividades de un subsector productivo, importante dentro de un territorio con características agroecológicas similares, cuyos atributos especiales, posibilitan el desarrollo de una actividad productiva determinada, cuya influencia en el desarrollo territorial es relevante.
