Abstract

The purpose of the article is to present the results of a study on the current state of implementation of investment and innovation projects in agribusiness in Ukraine. The article examines the scientific and applied aspects of the implementation of investment-innovation projects in the agricultural enterprises of Ukraine. The current state of implementation of the most important agricultural investment projects and their financing sources are analyzed. Increase in the number of projects and volume of investments in agricultural sector indicates an improvement in investment attractiveness and positive expectations of agricultural enterprises. Key problems (institutional, financial and human) of the implementation of studied projects and perspective directions of their solution are outlined: formation of favorable institutional climate in Ukraine for the implementation of innovative projects and attract foreign investment; economic stimulation of implementation of national innovative techniques and technologies; overcome of existing gaps in professional competence, which graduates of institutions of higher agricultural education have received with those which employers require, and bringing the number of graduates (especially agronomists and of technical specialists) to the real needs of specialists and expectations of agribusiness.
