Abstract

THE FIELD OF HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, BECAUSE OF ITS SOCIAL SIGNIFICANCE AND GIVEN MISSION, IS NOT AN AREA OF THE MARKET ECONOMY DIRECT ACTION. HOWEVER, UNIVERSITIES CARRY OUT THEIR ACTIVITIES AT THE INTERSECTION OF TWO MARKETS: THE MARKET OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND THE LABOR MARKET - AND CANNOT STAY AWAY FROM COMMON PROBLEMS IN A SITUATION OF ECONOMIC CRISIS. ONE OF THEM - REDUCTION IN REVENUE OF UNIVERSITIES' BUDGET. THIS ARTICLE DESCRIBES THE FACTORS AND WAYS TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.
