The Prize of the Russian Federation in the sphere of quality - the modern tool for increasing of competitiveness in the Russian universities

Abstract

The experience of Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service on the quality management is analyzed in this article. The Prize of the Russian Federation Government in the sphere of quality, which was awarded in 2009 to our University, sums up all management reforms implemented during five years. The author emphasizes that the successful implementation of the quality management system to the University cannot be possible without the simultaneous improvement of the management system, the development of the flexible managerial structure, the transition to the University work estimation according to the quality, the strategic partnership development, etc. In the article it is pointed out that the usage of the self-estimation as a quality management tool leads to the University results improvement.
