Selection and evaluation of teachers of medical schools in France and Germany

Abstract

This article describes the practice of selection and evaluation of the teaching staff at the medical faculties of Strasbourg (France) and the Ruhr (Germany) universities. Especially given contracts with professors of medical faculties in France and Germany, and describes the main areas of activity, given the amount of workload per week, opportunities for continuing education, continuing upon the occurrence of retirement age, the criteria for performance assessment and evaluation of the content of teaching by students
