Der ordonomische Ansatz: Eine Illustration am Beispiel des Mindestlohns

Abstract

Das Ziel dieses Artikel besteht darin, den ordonomischen Ansatz durch eine Illustration vorzustellen. (a) Am aktuellen Beispiel der Einführung des gesetzlichen Mindestlohns wird gezeigt, wie die Ordonomik ein Diskursversagen diagnostiziert, das zu einem Politikversagen geführt hat, welches in absehbarer Weise ein Marktversagen nach sich ziehen wird. (b) Ferner wird aus ordonomischer Sicht erläutert, warum Lohnsubventionen geeignet sind, die negativen Auswirkungen des Mindestlohns zu korrigieren. (c) Schließlich wird ordonomisch reflektiert, welche Denk- und Handlungsblockaden einer solchen Reform des Mindestlohns im Wege stehen könnten und wie sich solche Blockaden ausräumen ließen.
