Gesund im Job bis zur Rente: Handlungsfelder aktiver Gesundheitsprävention für Betriebsräte und Betriebsärzte mit Praxisbeispielen

Abstract

Diese Broschüre stellt die für die Praxis wichtigen gesetzlichen Regelungen für eine gemeinsame Arbeit vor. Die Begriffe 'Gesundheitsförderung' und 'Prävention' werden erläutert und als Grundlage verwandt. Unser Vorgehen: Gesetze und Definitionen durch Fallbeispiele aus der Praxis mit Leben zu füllen. Den Lesern werden solche Instrumente und Maßnahmen aus der betrieblichen Praxis vorgestellt, die heute schon den Weg zu optimaler Prävention und Gesundheitsförderung weisen. Beiden Akteuren, Betriebsrat und Betriebsarzt, werden exemplarisch die Möglichkeiten und Chancen von Kooperation vorgestellt. Gemeinsames Ziel: Wohlergehen und Gesundheit der Beschäftigten, gute Produktivität und Qualität des Unternehmens, bessere Unternehmenskultur. Zur Unternehmenskultur gehören Betriebsklima und Arbeitsbedingungen. Voraussetzung dafür sind gegenseitiger Respekt und Wertschätzung sowie gemeinsame Wertvorstellungen und Zielorientierungen.Dazu dient dieser Handlungsleitfaden. Er bietet auf den einschlägigen rechtlichen Regelungen aufgebaute Informationen in verständlicher Form. Er will nicht abstrakte Vorschriften präsentieren, sondern sie an individuellen Beispielen aus der Praxis illustrieren. Dadurch ist der Leitfaden zugleich ein Service für den einzelnen Beschäftigten und darüber hinaus für dessen betriebliche Interessenvertretung sowie für Betriebs- und Arbeitsmediziner. Die engere Kooperation und Verzahnung der betrieblichen Interessenvertretungen mit den betriebsärztlichen Diensten erschließt bislang zu wenig genutzte Potenziale zur Verbesserung der Gesundheitsförderung und zur Prävention im Betrieb. So können Betriebe fit gemacht werden.
