Abstract

L'écologie industrielle et territoriale (EIT) fait l'objet de nombreux travaux scientifiques s'inscrivant dans diverses disciplines allant des sciences de l'ingénieur aux sciences humaines et sociales. La focalisation sur le territoire, ses enjeux et ses acteurs, comme objet d'étude ou encore comme dimensions à considérer dans la mise en œuvre de démarches d'EIT, caractérise les travaux menés en France dans ce domaine. Afin de faciliter la constitution de la communauté scientifique multidisciplinaire naissante autour de l'EIT, et le développement de travaux interdisciplinaires, deux colloques ont été organisés par l'Université de technologie de Troyes et l'IMT Mines d'Alès à Troyes en 2012 et 2014. Cet article vise à introduire le numéro spécial résultant de la seconde édition du colloque (COLEIT 2014), portant sur la problématique de la contribution de l'EIT à la transition écologique et sociale de l'économie.
