Abstract

L'objet de cet article est d'explorer les perceptions des femmes-entrepreneures sur leur équilibre entre vie privée et vie professionnelle. Il s'agit, d'une part, de mettre en évidence des disparités de perception du conflit vie professionnelle-vie privée chez les femmes entrepreneures, et d'autre part, de proposer quelques pistes de compréhension de cette thématique relativement à cette population. Notre démarche se découpe en deux temps. Dans une première partie, nous procédons à une revue de la littérature sur la question de l'articulation vie professionnelle-vie privée des femmes et en particulier celles entrepreneures. Ensuite, nous développons dans une seconde partie notre étude qui a porté sur une population de 21 femmes entrepreneures et qui a mobilisé la technique du récit de vie. Les résultats montrent que la manière de percevoir le conflit travailfamille par les femmes entrepreneures donne lieu à l'identification de trois idéaux-types.
