Cette base contient les statistiques de commerce international detaillees a la fois par pays/zone exportateur, pays/zone importateur et categorie de produits echanges sur une quarantaine d’annees. Le texte decrit les principaux traits de la base, les sources, les nomenclatures et les methodes utilisees ainsi que les indicateurs associes. Tout en decrivant la richesse de la base, le document montre par ailleurs les problemes statistiques inherents a ce type d’enregistrement des echanges internationaux.
