Aproximación a los índices de valor unitario y quantum del comercio exterior colombiano

Abstract

El documento presenta la estimación mensual de los índices encadenados de precios y cantidades del comercio exterior colombiano con base en las estadísticas de aduanas. La metodología propuesta busca afrontar los problemas de agregación y volatilidad propios de la fuente de información utilizada. De los índices calculados se desprenden resultados interesantes, dentro de los que se cuentan, la descomposición en efecto precio y cantidad del valor de las importaciones y exportaciones, los términos de intercambio bilaterales, entre otros.
