Der Arbeitsmarkt in der Finanzmarkt- und Wirtschaftskrise

Abstract

Die Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise spiegelt sich seit Ende 2008 zunehmend in erheblichen Arbeitsplatzverlusten und einer massiven Zunahme der Arbeitslosigkeit. Zu Beginn des Konjunktureinbruchs sind davon vor allem junge und männliche Arbeitskräfte in der Sachgütererzeugung betroffen. Mit Fortdauer der Krise erfassen die Arbeitsmarktprobleme einen immer größeren Kreis von Arbeitskräften. Die Arbeitsmarktpolitik reagiert auf diese Entwicklung mit neuen und adaptierten Instrumenten. Verbunden mit einer deutlichen Ausweitung des Mitteleinsatzes konnten damit die Beschäftigungseinbußen gemildert und der Anstieg der Arbeitslosigkeit gedämpft werden.
