Świadomość funkcjonowania crowdfundingu

Abstract

Młode zjawisko crowdfundingu udziałowego w ostatnich latach zyskuje w Polsce na popularności. Pomimo rosnącego zainteresowania dalej jest zagadnieniem niedostatecznie przebadanym. Celem pracy jest określenie poziomu świadomości studentów studiów licencjackich Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w zakresie crowdfundingu udziałowego oraz ocena potencjału rozwoju tego zjawiska. W artykule postawiono dwie hipotezy. W pierwszej zakłada się, że im wyższy rok studiów, tym świadomość studentów na temat crowdfundingu – w tym crowdfundingu udziałowego – jest większa. W drugiej wyższy rok studiów odpowiadać ma zarówno wzrostowi potencjalnego zainteresowania w przyszłości, jak i deklarowanej kwoty możliwej do przeznaczenia w kampanii. Do zweryfikowania hipotez wybrano metodę kwestionariuszową, posługując się narzędziem ankiety. Za punkt odniesienia przyjęto niemieckie badania „Crowdfunding Barometer”. Dodatkowo zdecydowano się na przeprowadzenie wywiadów pogłębionych z wybranymi studentami, by poznać w szczególności wpływ czynników pozaekonomicznych na kształtowanie decyzji inwestycyjnych oraz charakter emocji towarzyszący kampaniom udziałowego finansowania społecznościowego. Praca stanowi początek studiów nad zjawiskiem crowdfundingu, a jej wyniki mogą być punktem wyjścia do bardziej kompleksowych badań, również w pozostałych grupach społecznych. Analiza otrzymanych rezultatów sugeruje niepełne zrozumienie pojęcia crowdinvestingu. Postuluje się zatem przeprowadzenie działań edukacyjnych, szczególnie przybliżających obowiązujące regulacje. Świadomość ryzyka oraz specyfiki kampanii crowdfundingu udziałowego przełożyłaby się na efektywniejsze decyzje inwestycyjne potencjalnych kapitałodawców w przyszłości.
