Abstract

Indicators of welfare depends on several variable factors each. By using the Shapley value of cooperative game theory, we measure the importance of each factor in the changes of a particular index of welfare. We apply the technique to the specific cases of measures of human development and poverty in Mexico with data from 2006 to 2010.
