Dos Enfoques Alternativos para la Medición de Costos y Beneficios Sociales: El Cálculo de Precios Sociales y la Determinación del Valor del Consumo Generado
This paper presents two methodologies for project evaluation of a social point of view. The first one is related to the consumption changes in the whole economy, induced by the project, valued at market prices. The second one is the well known social prices framework of analysis. This paper intend to prove the equivalence of both methodologies under the assumption that changes in well-being can be estimated by the sum up of consumer surpluses. In other words, this paper shows that every project accepted by the social price methodology will be accepted by the other one and conversely.
