Invecchiamento e rapporti intergenerazionali: uno sguardo d?insieme

Abstract

In questo articolo vengono presi in esame, in parte anche in prospettiva comparata, alcuni indicatori volti a cogliere il fenomeno dell?invecchiamento demografico in un?ottica di rapporti intergenerazionali. A tal fine viene adottato un approccio olistico che mira a mantenere uno sguardo d?insieme dei vari ambiti interessati dal fenomeno, e dell?impatto che questi possono esercitare sulle relazioni intergenerazionali in termini di conflitti, disuguaglianze e politiche. Introduce l?articolo una disamina delle principali tendenze demografiche in atto, seguita dall?analisi di alcune forme di esercizio del supporto intergenerazionale riscontrabili in Italia, quali trasferimenti di risorse e prestazioni di cura. Dopo un breve approfondimento rispetto alla situazione nel mondo del volontariato organizzato, l?articolo si chiude con un esame dei conflitti che possono verificarsi in caso di non ottimali relazioni tra le generazioni
