Abstract

******** Abstract: This research proposes an approach towards an understanding of how Corporate Social Responsibility (csr) is dynamized in the hydrangea value chain in Antioquia´s east. An empirical study was carried out based on the Value Chain Analysis (vca), model that include csr variables, thereby the methodological design is based on a qualitative descriptive method, adopting a mixed non-probabilistic sampling approach. The data treatment and analysis was through ATLAS.ti software. The results proved that, since there are not certified csr practices, there are socially responsible attitudes and behaviors by traders and suppliers, each at different levels. In this way, it is concluded that the traders has a leading role in complying csr standards.
