Vom Normalarbeitsverhältnis zur Flexibilisierung. Über den Wandel der Arbeitszeitmuster: Ausmaß, Bewertung und Präferenzen

Abstract

In dem folgenden Papier werden Entwicklungen der Erwerbsarbeit in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland seit der Nachkriegszeit aufgezeigt, die vom „Normalarbeitsverhältnis zur Flexibilisierung“ führen. Aufgezeigt wird auch, wie diese Entwicklungen in der politischen Debatte um die Arbeitszeitfragen beurteilt werden. Ein Überblick über „atypische“ (das heißt vom Normalarbeitsverhältnis abweichende) Arbeitszeitmuster stellt den derzeitigen Stand und die Bandbreite der Flexibilisierung der Arbeitszeit dar. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Bewertung atypischer Arbeitszeitformen in Hinblick auf Arbeitgeberinteressen und auf die Lebensqualität der Arbeitnehmer. Weiterhin wird auf der Basis von Umfrageergebnissen (Datenbasis: Sozioökonomisches Panel) die Bereitschaft der Arbeitnehmer zur Arbeitszeitverkürzung und Arbeitszeitflexibilisierung aufgezeigt.
