Personalengpässe: Was tun Betriebe gegen den Fachkräftemangel?

Abstract

Der Mangel an Arbeitskräften stellt für Betriebs- und Personalräte eine zentrale Herausforderung dar. Die Folgen dieser Personalknappheit sind für die Unternehmen vielfältig, die Hauptlast tragen aber vor allem die aktuell Beschäftigten. Sie müssen durch Mehrarbeit die fehlenden Kapazitäten ausgleichen. Die vorliegenden Befunde zeigen, dass viele betroffene Betriebe zur Fachkräftesicherung vor allem auf betriebliche Weiterbildungsprogramme setzen, um Fachkräfte aus den eigenen Reihen zu qualifizieren. Gleichzeitig wird auch das Angebot an zeit- und ortsflexiblen Arbeitsmodellen erhöht, um offene Stellen attraktiver machen.
