Abstract

Fachkräfteengpässe bedrohen in zahlreichen Branchen die Wertschöpfung und die Stabilität von Sozialkassen. Arbeitgeber stehen damit vor der Herausforderung, Fachkräfte zu gewinnen und zu halten - auch in Zukunft. Viele Beschäftigte arbeiten zudem nah an ihren Leistungsgrenzen und nicht selten darüber hinaus - sie erwarten häufig, dass sie nicht bis zur Rente durchhalten, wenn es weitergeht wie bisher (DGB-Index Gute Arbeit 2021, S. 101). Außerdem sind die Fehlzeiten insbesondere aufgrund psychischer Erkrankungen in den vergangenen Jahren gestiegen (DAK/IGES 2022), was nicht nur die Produktivität beeinträchtigt, sondern auch die Sozialversicherungssysteme belastet.
