Abstract

Heinsohns und Steigers These, dass das Geld nicht als technisches Neutrum zur Verbesserung des Tauschens, sondern aus den Modalitäten von Gläubiger-Schuldnerkontrakten einer Privateigentümergesellschaft entstanden sei (Heinsohn, 1984: Kap. 4; auch: Heinsohn/Steiger, 1983), hat einen ökonomischen Vorläufer noch vor J. M. Keynes, der ebenfalls in Oxford gelehrt hatte, und der Keynes bekannt gewesen sein könnte, denn seine, in dem uns interessierenden Fall 1827 geschrieben, „Lectures“ wurden 1928 veröffentlicht: Nassau Senior.
