Ein Kommentar zur Diskussion um Begriff und Verständnis der IT-Governance: Anregungen zu einer kritischen Reflexion

Abstract

Mit dem Bezeichner IT-Governance werden sowohl in der Praxis als auch in der einschlägigen Literatur eine überraschende Vielfalt an Zielen, Aufgaben und Institutionen verbunden. Der vorliegende Bericht ist darauf gerichtet, Überlegungen aus der einschlägigen Literatur zusammenzustellen, zu kommentieren und zu einer kritischen Reflexion über IT-Governance anzuregen. Dazu werden ausgewählte Begriffsauslegungen der IT-Governance in den Kontext der Corporate Governance und Compliance eingeordnet, diskutiert und voneinander abgegrenzt. Grundlage für diesen Bericht bildet ein Vortrag des Autors auf der 53. Sitzung der Fachgruppe IT-Controlling der Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. am 19.06.2009 in Essen.
