Abstract

Der hier dokumentierte Workshop, der am 14. Dezember 2001 im Japanisch-Deutschen Zentrum Berlin stattfand, setzt die im Vorjahr begonnene Auseinandersetzung um die Auswirkungen der 'New Economy' fort. Das Thema behandelt in theoretischer und landesspezifischer, auch vergleichender, Perspektive die Frage, wie sich IT -Technologien auf Strukturen und Prozesse in Unternehmen auswirken. Dabei werden die folgenden Fragenkreise behandelt: 'Der Einfluss von Informationstechnologien auf Strukturen und Prozesse in Unternehmen - eine Übersicht zur Einführung' (Ruth); ''Culture matters'; EDI-Systementwicklung in der koreanischen Automobilindustrie' (Manske, Moon); 'Katalysator und Protagonist: Die Rolle der Informationstechnik im Paradigmenwandel von Untemehmensstrategien und -struktur' (Winand); 'Auswirkungen von IT-Technologien auf die Unternehmens- und Industrieorganisation in Japan' (Hemmert).
