Künstliche Intelligenz in der Versicherung: Von der Dunkelverarbeitung zu autonomen Agenten

Abstract

Künstliche Intelligenz (KI) beeinflusst heute als Technologie alle Lebensbereiche und in besonderer Weise auch die Versicherungswirtschaft, deren Geschäftsmodell stark auf Datenverarbeitung beruht. Zu unterscheiden sind drei Formen von: Diskriminative KI, die vorhandene Inhalte interpretiert und daraus Schlussfolgerungen zieht bzw. Handlungsempfehlungen entwickelt; Generative KI, die aus bestehenden Daten - Texten, Bildern, Videos, Code - neue Inhalte generiert und Agentische KI, die selbstständig Aktionen auslöst und im definierten Autonomierahmen eigene Entscheidungen trifft. Dieser Artikel untersucht die Anwendungsfelder für die drei Formen der KI in der Versicherungswirtschaft, entwickelt Thesen, wie die KI die Versicherungswirtschaft verändern wird und Handlungsempfehlungen für Versicherer im Umgang mit KI.
