Abstract

Aktuell kommen in der Versicherungsbranche zunehmend neue Geschäftsmodelle und innovative Technologien zum Einsatz. Das betrifft nicht nur einzelne Aufgaben und Funktionen, wie zum Beispiel den Vertrieb von Versicherungen. Vielmehr beobachten wir Innovationen durch Unternehmen (den "InsurTechs") entlang der gesamten Wertschöpfungskette und sogar Neugründungen von Versicherungsunternehmen. Viele Unternehmer und Investoren beabsichtigen, mit ihren Ideen nachhaltige Lösungen zu entwickeln und das Produkt "Versicherung" mit kundenorientierten Lösungen zu verbessern. Zum 12. Symposium hatten wir junge InsurTech-Unternehmen aus den verschiedenen Versicherungssparten eingeladen. Gründer und Vorstände berichteten am InsurTech-Standort Köln von ihren Visionen und vom aktuellen Umsetzungsstand in der Praxis.
