Wettbewerbsvorsprung durch Supply Chain Management

Abstract

Grundlage einer erfolgreichen Supply Chain Management Strategie ist die Kenntnis der logistischen Strukturen und Abläufe. Diese werden bereits weit vor Produktionsstart bestimmt. Eine unter prozessorientierten Gesichtspunkten systematisierte Lieferantenauswahl und ein Supply Chain Design stellen somit einen zentralen Bestandteil für den Erfolg der Kette dar. Der gegenwärtige Stand zeigt, dass kein Kennzahlensystem besteht, das den Zeitraum vor Produktionsstart umfassend abdeckt. Daraus leitet sich die Notwendigkeit ab, eine entsprechende Systematik zu entwickeln. Dieses Kennzahlensystem stellt zukünftig auch für die Zeit vor Produktionsstart ein strategisches Instrument zur Lieferantenauswahl sowie zum Supply Chain Design und damit für den späteren Erfolg der Supply Chain dar.
