Zum Vergabestopp für den Schweren Transporthubschrauber: Was ein Verlust von Hubschrauberkapazitäten für die Einsatzfähigkeit der Bundeswehr bedeutet

Abstract

Das Vergabeverfahren zur Beschaffung eines neuen Transporthubschraubers wurde gestoppt. Ein bruchloser Übergang zwischen dem in die Jahre gekommenen Mittleren Transporthubschrauber (MTH) und seinem Nachfolger ist nun möglicherweise nicht mehr zu gewährleisten. Auf die Beschaffung eines Schweren Transporthubschraubers (STH) als Ablösung zu verzichten würde die militärische Handlungsfähigkeit der Bundeswehr einschränken. Dies gilt für den Einsatz im internationalen Krisenmanagement (IKM), bei Hilfeleistungen im In- und Ausland und in der Landes- und Bündnisverteidigung (LV/BV).
