Gerechtigkeit vs. Stabilität? Das Sondertribunal für den Libanon droht eine neue Krise auszulösen

Abstract

Mehr als fünf Jahre nach der Ermordung des ehemaligen libanesischen Premierministers Rafiq El-Hariri werden zum Jahresende 2010 die Anklagen des Sondertribunals für den Libanon erwartet. Unbestätigten Berichten zufolge, die von den politischen Akteuren jedoch längst wie Fakten behandelt werden, sollen unter den Angeklagten auch Mitglieder der Hisbollah sein. Dies könnte dramatische Implikationen mit sich bringen. Aufgrund der politischen und militärischen Kräfteverhältnisse kann der Libanon nicht ohne die Kooperation der schiitischen Organisation regiert werden. Internationale und regionale Akteure wie Syrien, Iran, Saudi-Arabien und die USA schalten sich in den Konflikt ein. Dem politischen System des Landes droht eine neue, gefährliche Krise
