Die Stimmungslage in der Ukraine: Die politische und gesellschaftliche Instabilität wächst

Abstract

Seit geraumer Zeit stellen sowohl Ukrainer als auch Beobachter im Ausland die Frage, ob die Zeit reif sei für einen 'dritten Majdan'. Die Proteste, die am 17. Oktober 2017 und in den Wochen danach stattgefunden haben, sind der Startschuss dafür nicht. Sie sind eher auf die Initiative politischer Akteure zurückzuführen und haben nicht das Potential für eine Massenmobilisierung. Allerdings vermitteln diese Proteste wichtige Botschaften über die politische und gesellschaftliche Lage im Land. Vor dem Hintergrund der Entwicklung der letzten Jahre sind sie ein Zeichen dafür, dass sich die Situation in den kommenden Monaten gefährlich aufheizen könnte
