Anti-Korruptions-Proteste in Russland: Gesellschaft und Staat vor den Präsidentschaftswahlen 2018

Abstract

Am 26. März und 12. Juni dieses Jahres demonstrierten in Dutzenden russischen Städten Zehntausende Menschen gegen Korruption. Sie folgten einem Aufruf des Oppositionspolitikers und Aktivisten Alexej Nawalny, der so zu einem frühen Zeitpunkt den Beginn des Präsidentschaftswahlkampfs erzwang. Angesetzt sind die Wahlen für März 2018. Die Proteste bedrohen weder kurz- noch mittelfristig die Existenz von Russlands politischer Führung. Sie lenken den Blick jedoch auf sich abzeichnende strukturelle Veränderungen im Verhältnis zwischen Gesellschaft und Staat, die längerfristig von entscheidender Bedeutung für die Zukunft des politischen Systems sein können.
