Dynamisierung der deutsch-polnischen Beziehungen: Vorschläge für eine Vertiefung der bilateralen Zusammenarbeit

Abstract

Die deutsch-polnischen Beziehungen haben sich seit Amtsantritt der Regierung Tusk im November 2007 erheblich entspannt. Wichtige bilaterale Streitfragen wurden entweder gelöst (Zentrum gegen Vertreibungen) und vom Europäischen Menschenrechtsgerichthof entschieden (Entschädigungsklagen Vertriebener gegen Polen im Rahmen der sogenannten Preußischen Treuhand sind unzulässig) oder sie werden mittlerweile zumindest rationaler behandelt (Gaspipeline Nordstream durch die Ostsee). An die Stelle der teils aggressiven antideutschen Töne der Kaczynski-Regierung ist nüchterne Sachlichkeit getreten. Der Dialog zwischen den Regierungen hat sich intensiviert, auch im EU-Rahmen. Das sind gute Voraussetzungen, um die bilateralen Beziehungen stärker auf Zukunftsthemen auszurichten und sie krisenfest zu machen. Die nächste Bundesregierung sollte sich in dieser Hinsicht ehrgeizige Ziele setzen und neue Formate und Projekte in Angriff nehmen, die geeignet sind, die Zusammenarbeit zu vertiefen
