Zwei Jahre im "neuen Armenien": Politische Polarisierung manifestiert sich auch in Covid-19-Krise

Abstract

Im Zuge von Massenprotesten kam 2018 der Oppositionspolitiker Nikol Paschinyan in Armenien an die Macht. Angetreten war er mit einer ambitionierten Reformagenda, die bei der Bevölkerung hohe Erwartungen geweckt hat. Zwei Jahre später lautet die Bilanz 'Work-in-Progress'. Covid-19 durchkreuzt aber nun die (wirtschafts-)politischen Vorhaben der Regierung. Die Krise lässt sowohl negative als auch positive Rahmen­bedingungen für die Umsetzung zentraler Reformen erkennen.
