Krisen, Crashs und Hilfspakete: Die neuen EU-Mitgliedsländer sind von der Finanzkrise besonders betroffen

Abstract

In Mittel- und Osteuropa haben sich als Folge der weltweiten Finanzkrise massive wirtschaftliche Instabilitäten entwickelt. Sie belasten nicht allein die europäische Peripherie, sondern bedrohen direkt die Stabilität des Bankensektors in der Eurozone und beeinträchtigen indirekt die Funktionsfähigkeit der EU. Somit ist auch Deutschland betroffen. Erneut stockte der Europäische Rat am 19./20. März die Mittel für Hilfsmaßnahmen auf. Doch die Aufgabe bleibt bestehen, einen Zusammenbruch des Finanzsektors und drohende Staatsbankrotte in der Region abzuwenden
