Weiterbildung: Wichtiger Baustein der digitalen Arbeitswelt

Abstract

Wer sich beruflich weiterbildet, übt danach mehr Nichtroutinetätigkeiten aus. Im Zuge der digitalen Revolution könnte das Jobverlusten vorbeugen. - Eine aktuelle RWI-Studie zeigt, dass Beschäftigte nach einer Weiterbildung mehr Tätigkeiten ausüben, die situationsbezogenes Handeln erfordern. Ihre Arbeit kann daher weniger leicht durch Maschinen ersetzt werden. Entscheidend sind dabei die Inhalte der Weiterbildung. Um das Risiko von Jobverlusten zu verringern, sollte die Politik Maßnahmen ergreifen, welche insbesondere die Weiterbildungsbeteiligung von Geringqualifizierten erhöhen.
