Pflicht zur Veröffentlichung von Energiewerten senkt Häuserpreise

Abstract

Gesetzesänderung sorgt für mehr Transparenz bei Immobilienanzeigen und reduzierten Angebotspreisen bei Gebäuden mit hohem Verbrauch. - Mit der seit dem 1. Mai 2014 gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Informationspflicht hat sich der Anteil an Immobilienanzeigen, die den Wärmeenergieverbrauch des zum Verkauf stehenden Hauses veröffentlichen, deutlich erhöht. Gleichzeitig sanken die Angebotspreise für Immobilien mit hohem Verbrauch. Bei verbrauchsarmen Gebäuden gab es hingegen keine Veränderung. Eine Erklärung für diese Entwicklung ist, dass Anbieter von Häusern mit hohem Verbrauch die Energieinformationen vor Einführung der Veröffentlichungspflicht eher zurückgehalten haben.
