Abstract

Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der wirtschaftlichen Situation in den 14 größten Städten Deutschlands, und zwar anhand von vier Indikatoren der VGR zur Wirtschaftskraft und zur Ein-kommenslage. Dabei ergeben sich zum Teil erhebliche Unterschiede zwischen den Städten sowie bemerkenswerte Verschiebungen in der Rangfolge der einzelnen Indikatoren, die unter Verwendung von Modellrechnungen bzw. unter Zuhilfenahme weiterer Informationen teilweise gut erklärt werden konnten.
