Abstract

Das Studium Generale an den Universitäten hat eine lange Tradition. Mit der Etablierung einer akademischen Alternative in Form der Fachhochschulen stellte sich die Frage, in welcher Weise auch hier fächerübergreifende Veranstaltungen angeboten werden sollten. Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt die Pforzheimer Konzeption des Studium Generale vor und berichtet über die langjährigen Erfahrungen bei deren Umsetzung mit dem Ziel, die Diskussion innerhalb der Fachhochschulen anzuregen.
