Abstract

Band 7 der Schriftenreihe "Forschung für die Zukunftsgesellschaft" des Instituts für Verbraucherforschung und nachhaltigen Konsum | vunk schließt im Jahr des 25-jährigen Bestehens des Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverbandes vzbv eine Lücke: Steffens beschreibt den wichtigen Prozess der Entstehung des vzbv aus drei Vorgängerinstitutionen (AgV, VSV, Stiftung VI). Brönneke und Kenning geben einen Überblick über die bisherigen 25 Jahre des Bestehens des vzbv und ordnen seine Tätigkeit in einen weiteren Rahmen der Verbraucherpolitik ein. Die Autoren haben die beschriebene Zeit als fachlich mit dem Thema bestens vertraute Wissenschaftler beobachtet und waren zum Teil unmittelbar an den beschriebenen Prozessen beteiligt. Dadurch konnten nicht veröffentlichte Dokumente verwertet werden und das Werk erhält gewissermaßen den Charakter eines analytischen Zeitzeugenberichtes. Mit einem Nachwort von Prof. Dr. Tobias Brönneke und Prof. Dr. Peter Kenning: 25 Jahre Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband.
