Nutzung thermodynamischer Datensätze zur Simulation von Werkstoffgefügen

Abstract

Um aussagekräftige Ergebnisse aus der Durchführung von Phasenfeldsimulationen zu erhalten, bedarf es der korrekten thermodynamischen Eigenschaften des zu untersuchenden Systems als Eingabewerte. Für Simulationen mit der Software PACE 3D wurde zur Beschreibung der thermodynamischen Eigenschaften eines Systems bisher ein idealisiertes Phasendiagramm zugrunde gelegt. Die Eingabedaten wie Schmelztemperaturen oder latente Wärme mussten aus der Literatur entnommen und von Hand in die Eingabedatei einer Simulation eingegeben werden. Eine Alternative stellt der automatische Zugriff auf thermodynamische Datensätze, wie etwa TDB-Dateien, und deren Auswertung nach der Calphad-Methode dar. In diesem Beitrag wird die Verknüpfung von thermodynamischen Datensätzen mit der Phasenfeldsimulationssoftware PACE 3D und den damit gewonnenen Simulationsergebnissen des Aluminium-Kupfer-Systems vorgestellt
