Internationale Trends in der Bildungsförderung im Rahmen der Kapazitätenentwicklung für die Millenniums-Entwicklungsziele

Abstract

Im Zuge der Zwischenstandsüberprüfung der Millenniums-Entwicklungsziele (MDGs) im Jahre 2005 wurde der gravierende Mangel an Kapazitäten in Entwicklungsländern deutlich. Dies und das wachsende Bewusstsein darüber, dass die Marginalisierung der Entwicklungsländer in der globalen Wissensgesellschaft ein Entwicklungshindernis darstellt, führten zu ganzheitlicheren Ansätzen in der Bildungsförderung. Im Sinne der Kapazitätenentwicklung für die MDGs hat der Bildungssektor auf allen Bildungsebenen Bedeutung. Grundbildung stellt ein Kernelement des Veränderungspotentials von Gesellschaften dar und ist somit die Basis für alle Formen von Kapazitätentwicklung. Auf der sekundären und tertiären Bildungsebene spielt der Bildungssektor für die Ausbildung von spezifischen Fachkapazitäten zur Erreichung der MDGs eine Schlüsselrolle. ...
