DAC Peer Review Österreichs 2015 - eine vorläufige Einschätzung

Abstract

Im Rahmen der DAC Peer Review 2015 wurde die österreichische Entwicklungspolitik und ihre konkrete Umsetzung von Deutschland, der Schweiz und dem DAC-Sekretariat geprüft. Der Bericht und die Empfehlungen wurden am 15. Jänner 2015 veröffentlicht und vom DAC-Chairman Erik Solheim in Wien vorgestellt. Die OECD attestiert Österreich in Bereichen wie Umwelt- und Sicherheitspolitik wichtige Beiträge zur internationalen EZA geleistet zu haben, verweist aber auch auf zahlreiche Schwachstellen. Die vorliegende Policy Note fasst die wesentlichen Ergebnisse der DAC Peer Review zusammen und liefert eine Einschätzung ihrer Realisierbarkeit im Kontext der österreichischen Entwicklungspolitik.
