Abstract

Smartphones sind seit der Präsentation in ihrer heutigen Form durch Steve Jobs in 2007 im Wesentlichen unverändert und haben sich als universelles Werkzeug der Digitalisierung im Alltag durchgesetzt. Wenn man auf die Präsentation des iPhones als eines der ersten echten Smartphones in 2007 schaut, stellt sich die Frage, wie sich diese Geräteklasse weiter entwickeln wird. Diese Frage ist für die Digitalisierung vieler Prozesse von großer Bedeutung, den das Smartphone ist derzeit das persönliche Ein- und Ausgabegerät fast aller an der Digitalisierung beteiligten Personen. In diesem Arbeitspapier wird versucht mit ausgewählten Metohden des Innovationsmanagements die Frage nach dem Smartphone der Zukunft zu beantworten und zu prüfen, ob die genutzten Methoden zur Beantwortung der Frage geeignet sind.
