Das moralische Anliegen einer nachhaltigen Klimapolitik: Fünf Thesen aus Sicht einer ordonomischen Wirtschaftsethik

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag formuliert fünf Thesen zur Klimapolitik aus wirtschaftsethischer Sicht. Gezeigt wird, dass es sich um ein außerordentlich komplexes Problem handelt und dass die Kosten zur Lösung dieses Problems weder von den Entwicklungsländern noch von den Unternehmen getragen werden (können) und deshalb primär von den privaten Haushalten der reichen westlichen Nationen geschultert werden müssen. Erläutert wird die extreme Bedeutung statischer und dynamischer Effizienz sowie die wirtschaftsethische Hauptthese, dass ein moralischer Heroismus im Bereich der Klimapolitik weder notwendig noch hinreichend ist.
