Unternehmensethik in der Marktwirtschaft: Moral als Produktionsfaktor

Abstract

Dieser Beitrag entwickelt in zehn Thesen den unternehmensethischen Gedankengang, dass Unternehmen mit zahlreichen Aktivitäten unter der Bezeichnung „Corporate Social Responsibility“ unfreiwillig genau jene Vorurteile bestätigen, die in der Öffentlichkeit oft zur Ablehnung der Marktwirtschaft und ihrer Prinzipien führen. Sie tragen zur allgemeinen Akzeptanzkrise der Marktwirtschaft bei, anstatt wirksam gegenzusteuern. Als Gegenentwurf wird ein Konzept vorgestellt, wie Unternehmen Moral als Produktionsfaktor einbringen können. Damit re-aktualisiert dieser Beitrag die klassische Ordnungsvorstellung der Väter der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft, dass Unternehmen als Wertschöpfungsagenten im gesellschaftlichen Auftrag handeln.
