Abstract

Deutschland steht vor großen strukturellen Herausforderungen, die von den vier Trends Digitalisierung, Dekarbonisierung, Demografie und De-Globalisierung ausgehen. Diese Trends wirken gleichzeitig und verursachen an den gemeinsamen Schnittstellen zusätzliche Anforderungen an die Politik, damit der Transformationsprozess positiv gestaltet werden kann.Eine Unternehmensbefragung im Rahmen des IW-Zukunftspanels verdeutlicht, vor welchen Herausforderungen die Wirtschaft im Transformationsprozess konkret steht und wie eine neue Regierung die Wirtschaft in diesem Prozess unterstützen kann.
