Erfolgreiche Integration: Mehr Geflüchtete in Ausbildung und Beschäftigung

Abstract

Wie steht es um die Integration von Flüchtlingen in den Arbeitsmarkt? - Die KOFA-Studie 2/2020 liefert aktuelle Zahlen und Fakten. Die Jahre 2015 und 2016 zeichneten sich durch eine historisch große Flüchtlingsmigration aus, in deren Verlauf mehr als 1,2 Millionen Schutzsuchende nach Deutschland gekommen sind. Seitdem sind die Asylantragszahlen stark zurückgegangen: Während im Jahr 2016 fast eine dreiviertel Million Asylanträge in Deutschland gestellt wurden, waren es im Jahr 2019 nur noch knapp 166.000. Dennoch stellt die Integration von Flüchtlingen in Alltag und Arbeitsmarkt weiterhin eine große Aufgabe für Staat und Gesellschaft dar.
