Abstract

Mit der Mitbestimmungspraxis "Management unternehemensstrategischer Risiken" haben Henrik Steinhaus und Mandy Guttzeit eine Handlungshilfe für Aufsichtsräte erarbeitet, die sich mit dem Thema Risikomanagement und dem Umgang mit unternehmensstrategischen Risiken befasst. Sie gehen der Frage nach, was strategische Risiken sein können und wie sie sich auf die Beschäftigtensituation auswirken können. Dabei ist diese Mitbestimmungspraxis auch für den schnellen Leser geeignet, da sie auf die entscheidenden Passagen verweist. Ziel der Autoren ist, zu zeigen, dass es insbesondere im Aufsichtsrat sinnvoll ist, sich mit dem Thema zu beschäftigten, da strategische Herausforderungen eher bedingt Gegenstand solcher installierten Risikomanagementsysteme und -instrumente sind. Die Autoren weisen darauf hin, dass eine Identifikation von wesentlichen Risiken eine anspruchsvolle Aufgabe darstellt. Sie zeigen jedoch auf, wie dies gelingen kann, um im Aufsichtsrat zu agieren.
