Abstract

Die Vielfalt der Belegschaft hinsichtlich Geschlecht, Alter, Religion, sexueller Orientierung, kulturellem Hintergrund sowie geistiger und körperlicher Behinderung wird immer präsenter. Vor dem Hintergrund der gesellschaftlichen und politischen Veränderungen in Deutschland ist es umso wichtiger, dass Unternehmen ein Zeichen setzen und für mehr Inklusion und eine positive partnerschaftliche Zusammenarbeit aller Mitarbeitenden sorgen. Betriebsräte spielen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Förderung von Gleichstellung, Gerechtigkeit und Diversität in Unternehmen. Sie sind als Mitbestimmungsakteur gefragt, durch verschiedene Strategien und Betriebsvereinbarungen einen diskriminierungsfreien Umgang aller Beschäftigten zu ermöglichen. Doch wie können Betriebsräte handeln, um diese Themen in ihren Betrieben voranzutreiben? Was sind wichtige Schritte? An wen können sie sich wenden? Was muss beachtet werden? Diese Porträtreihe gibt Antworten auf diese und weitere Fragen.
