Zum Zusammenhang zwischen Unternehmens- und Vermögenseinkommen, Arbeitstagen und Terms of Trade

Abstract

Die Unternehmens- und Vermögeneinkommen (UVE) entwickeln sich in der Regel prozyklisch. In Phasen hoher konjunktureller Dynamik legen auch die UVE typischerweise kräftig zu, da dann die Absatz- und Ertragsmöglichkeiten günstig sind. Vor diesem Hintergrund ist es auffällig, dass die UVE unserer Prognose zufolge im laufenden Jahr zurückgehen werden, obwohl wir mit einer hohen konjunkturellen Dynamik rechnen. Dies könnte zwar ein Hinweis auf Inkonsistenzen in unserer Prognose sein, insbesondere zwischen der verwendungs- und verteilungsseitigen Durchrechnung. So könnte - sofern sich unsere Prognose des nominalen Bruttoinlandsprodukts als zutreffend erweist - unsere Prognose für die Bruttolöhne und -gehälter zu optimistisch sein, da höhere Löhne und Gehälter ceteris paribus die UVE drücken. Umgekehrt könnte es auch ein Indiz dafür sein, dass wir - gegeben einer zutreffenden Prognose der Bruttolöhne und -gehälter - die konjunkturelle Dynamik unterschätzen und das nominale Bruttoinlandsprodukt stärker zulegen wird als von uns prognostiziert.
