(Steuerliche) Entlastungsmaßnahmen gegen Energiepreisanstieg grundsätzlich sinnvoll – Entfernungspauschale reformbedürftig

Abstract

Die im Gesetzentwurf der Regierungsfraktionen für das Steuerentlastungsgesetz 2022 enthaltenen Maßnahmen ebenso wie diejenigen aus den Ergänzungsanträgen sollen die aus den drastischen Energiepreisanstiegen resultierenden Belastungen für die privaten Haushalte abfedern. Sie können für sich genommen hinsichtlich ihrer fiskalischen sowie verteilungs- und klimapolitischen Auswirkungen beurteilt werden, sollten jedoch möglichst im Gesamtkontext der beiden von der Bundesregierung geplanten umfangreichen Entlastungspakete analysiert werden.
